Adding to an existing website, our main objective was to add an art gallery section for those customers interested in works of art rather than only the greeting cards already offered. We chose to build a new home page from which the visitor would make a choice – gallery or cards. On the home page we offered content that would be common to both “sides” of the site and in doing so, also re-designed and re-organized the landing page for the card company in order to create continuity between the gallery and card company landing pages with the home page.
